F.A.C.E.S. Program Aims

To develop service opportunities

• Partnering with allied agencies to build employment opportunities
• Providing on-going training to solidify youth leaders job skills and abilities
• Incorporating additional resources and activities to compliment the service learning experience

To support educational development

• Supporting after school programs that encourage youth development
• Promoting traditional and non-traditional educational approaches to help youth leaders achieve a solid foundation of knowledge and experience
• Improving literacy within schools with a series of literary and tutoring programs

To increase parental involvement

• Developing parent involved programs in schools to combine their knowledge and experience to serve as mentors to the youths
• Encouraging parents to contribute time, effort, and input to programs
• Advocating for parents using PTA as a platform

To promote cultural awareness

• Sharing cultural experiences to provide a better understanding of different cultures
• Increasing cultural interaction and visibility through activities and events
• Creating new avenues for youths to express their cultural individuality
